News 2021

As a result of the pandemic in 2020 a large proportion of Mortimer staff were furloughed and manufacture of product was transferred to the parent company in Redditch (Protaform Springs & Pressings Ltd) last year to maintain continuity supply to Mortimer customers.
Consequently, as the temporary move to the parent company in Redditch proved successful & viable it has been decided that manufacturing operations at the  Mortimer site in Wembley will cease and this has now been closed, and to permanently transfer all manufacturing to Redditch . This will not only benefit Mortimer’s Manufacturing capabilities but enhance the range of components that can be offered.

While this is taking place, please be assured that products are still being manufactured to the high standards of Mortimer Springs, and that products are still being manufactured using BS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System for which Protaform Springs & Pressings are certified.

Staff changes

• As of December 2021 it is with regret to inform that Stella Salem has now retired after many loyal years of service to Mortimer Springs. We wish her well in her well deserved retirement.
• We Welcome Wendy Oakland who will now be the new point of contact
